I began this project as a way diversifying my dialogue about painting and abstraction. I was disciplined at first, and tried to make one every day. It was a nice idea, but I felt compelled to work more than one day on a painting, which defeated the original intent of ‘first thought, best thought.’ 

The full series consists of about 60-70 paintings varying in levels of aesthetics and degree of finish. I will upload more of them occasionally but the near-full set can be viewed at my Picasa page.
