"Current” implies belonging to the the present time. It's a placeholder word loosely representing my diaristic approach to documenting the next epoch of daily life circa 2019-onward. As I watched the work unfold, I would work on a project name. This was before March of 2020, before COVID-19 was declared a pandemic and mandates like social distancing and self-isolation became the norm. My work has long been about domestic spaces and the mundane. I'm curious what clues will be used to recognize the before and after of this solitude.

For now, the images will live here in one place as life tends to run together without borders. When uncertainty prevails, routine has always been a comfort. Update: The Quarantine Diaries have moved here.
